Okay, but I DID read the books at twelve and the show at 13? And Malec was always my otp, but there would be vast differences in culture, so you point would depend on when you grew up.

oh i’m sure it’s different for everyone, I was just speaking from my point of view. if i had read the books at 12, I would have loved Jace and wanted to be Clary, because Jace wanted to be with her.
