Episode 21: You Are Not Your Own

In this episode, Magnus is Valentine, Valentine is Magnus. Harry is Valentine, inside Magnus and Alan is Magnus, inside Valentine. And it’s all giving Michelle a headache. Damn you, body swapping episode! Luckily Ruth can be relied upon to keep thing on the right track!
Aside from all of that confusion, we mainly establish that while we knew Alan and Harry were going to knock this out the park, everyone is great in this episode and handing out MVP awards has never been this difficult.

This is one of my favourite episodes. Just a few remarks. You mentioned that you thought that Alec’s reaction after killing Azuzel (😄) didn’t make sense. I thought it was perfectly in character. Alec has always been very physical when it comes to his loved ones. He’s always hugging his family when he or them need comfort, he’s pretty hands on with Magnus as well so i thought it was normal for Alec to hug Magnus to reassure both of them that they were ok.
You know how much i love Matt but my MVP this time was Alan. I thought he was just brilliant! And i’m still hoping they’ll bring Azuzel back, he was pretty hot. 😉

Totally true in regards to Alec generally being quite touchy feely (gooey marshmallow middle remember), I think this slight issue though, is that he hasn’t previously been that way with Magnus – as we said in the ep, I think, Magnus and Alec did have a bit of a watershed moment at the end of 2.10 and we don’t really see them together too much between that and this, so it could be just the new way they are with each other, but its just difficult to judge because Magnus isn’t Magnus!
Alan is totally awesome, and Harry is totally awesome, and you and Michelle are probably right on this one – I panicked a little I think.
Yeah, would totally be down for some more Azuzel!
